Asana, Pranayama, Meditation Practice

Sunday morning yoga--asana, pranayama and meditation practice is back at Chestnut Street Studio!  This might be just what you're looking for.  Especially, but not exclusively, for those who like to move slowly and consciously, those who have never done yoga but have thought about trying it out, and those who may be returning to a practice after a time away.  We take the time necessary to warm our bodies and to deepen awareness of the vital energy moving within, establishing strength and stability in body and mind as we then further deepen into guided systematic relaxation and a short meditation. Classes are small and held in a lovely quiet artist space in the Wooster Square Neighborhood. Your unique self is honored in this supportive environment.

Melinda is a registered 500-hr trained yoga teacher with a personal practice of 20+years. She has completed trainings with the faculty of the Himalayan Institute, Khushi Malhotra, and her 200-hr training with Heidi Sormaz. (Read about Melinda)

Fees: We offer a small sliding scale to make class more affordable. CT Sales Tax of 6.35% is added to all fees listed below. If you would like to join us and need a more flexible rate, please let us know.  At this time we accept cash or check only. Thank you!
